We can provide this service to all external business if they need their own staff classroom trained to become compliant and confident.

The Moving and Handling/Positioning classroom training we deliver includes the following:

• The theory behind moving and handling, including unsafe moves.

• The use of a hoist and sling, including the 13 safety checks before each use.

• The use of slide sheets.

• Sit to stand techniques.

• The practical of moving and handling, including hoisting from a bed to chair, chair to bed, floor to bed etc. Practising using a slide sheet using the different techniques discussed in the theory. The correct way to use equipment safely.
